Returning to the Tomahawk trail system after 26 years!
90+ miles of mostly single track on the Tomahawk trail system which is considered by many as the best trail system in Michigan. Dual sport, ADV & Kids loops are also available!
Free camping, field camping with port-a-johns. No water or electric hook ups.
Come and enjoy an extra day camping in beautiful northern Michigan! Thumb Lake is nearby for swimming. Lodging available in Indian River & Gaylord, both approximately 20 minutes away.
Sign up at the staging area on Saturday 8am to 11am. Sunday 8am to 10am.
Requirements:
You must be a CCC member. Sign up here, or in person at sign-up.
ORV safety training certificate required for all riders under 16.
USFS approved spark arrestor.
All riders under 16 are required to have a safety training certificate.
Both Michigan ORV stickers (ORV license and Trail Permit) are required. We have a limited amount for purchase at the ride. Permits are also available at all DNR license agents, you can find a list here. Or online from the DNR here. Order AFTER April 1st, Michigan ORV licenses are valid from April 1st to March 31st.
